Nardog: hello there. I would like to ask your opinion about a matter that you should know, it is about IPA transcriptions. Watch this user's last 18 edits here. He has changed that many Italian IPAs because he thinks this version, his version, is the best, as declared in the edit summaries. Actually there is a source that registers the same Italian IPAs with the original order which was changed by him, the DiPI, the main orthoepy dictionary based on IPA and linked in the Help:IPA/Italian page. You can find its full version in PDF here. As you will see if you compare any of the IPAs of the list with the transcriptions registered in the dictionary, the form with the "z" sound is always before the form with the "s" sound, because as it is explained in the symbols legend the first one is the most correct modern pronunciation, while the second is a tolerated alternative which was used in the past but nowadays is considered obsolete. That user has deliberately inverted the order, just according to his own POV and going against the source. I already know that such a behaviour is not constructive because this is a massive editing based only on one's POV and because the source linked in the help page provides a different information, but I am interested in your opinon about the correctness of his edits because I have seen that you are quite active in linguistic issues. I am sending you also a ping just to be sure you read this thread: @Nardog:.Geeson Scott (thảo luận) 12:54, ngày 22 tháng 9 năm 2019 (UTC)Trả lời
